My buddy John and I wrote a tune back in October at the Dark Songs festival in Wisconsin, and decided to take a crack at co-writing an album this year. We've been meeting up a couple times a week to do so-- in the hills of a western Kentucky river town that boasts only a couple of small churches, a cemetery, and a lone Coca-Cola vending machine. There are some great stories in that gem of a town, and it's lending to some easy writing.
